Bo the Bear - English Pattern

Bo the Bear is a small and sweet bear measuring 7 centimeters. The original version is knitted using one strand of Lun Merino from Rauma Garn. This is a beautiful carded merino yarn that works perfectly for knitted toys. The yarn is slightly fluffy and creates a very nice stitch definition.

The bear is knitted in the round from top to bottom. You may choose whether to knit using the magic loop technique or double pointed needles. If you wish to knit the bear, mattress, or blanket in another yarn quality you can absolutely do so. Choose a yarn with approximately the same thickness and experiment. The most important thing is that the knitted fabric becomes tight enough that the stuffing does not show through.

Materials for Bo

Yarn: 6 grams Lun Merino from Rauma Garn

Needles: 2.5 mm long circular needle or double pointed needles

Plus a small amount of embroidery yarn or thin yarn for the eyes and snout

Materials for the mattress

Yarn: 20 grams Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn

Needles: 3 mm long circular needle and double pointed needles

Materials for the blanket

Yarn: 10 grams Sunday from Sandnes Garn
